lol from what ive seen the uniforms dont have pips... so we can just say whatever we are.

Ok, since I been getting questions on how I scored Icheb for my crew, I decided to do a small background history of each member of the crew. Now mind you, in all likelyhood, probably will resort in having a new science officer since I almost expect Icheb to be part of the game or or get some mention of him during the Path to 2409 since there was a small mentioning of him during the Supplemental Log of 2385 during the Seven of Nine interview.

-Captain Warrick B. Farrior: (Age 40) First served aboard the Brittain for 3 years and achieved the rank of lieutenant of junior grade.

Then served on the Enterprise for 5 years under Captain Data as a helm officer and showcased mastery of the helm during the Breen Wars of 2396 and led a number of successful away missions that resulted in very little casualties and ultimately got him a promotion to Lt. Commander in while still a member until 2399.

Went on to serve aboard the Rhode Island-A as First Officer under Captain Kim. Helped uncover the Gorn-Nausicann alliance with the Klingons that been forged in previous years privately. During a Borg attack near DS9 in 2402, Kim was gravely wounded and resulted in Farrior achieving captain after Kim chose to resign from field duty to assume the role of Admiral in Fleet Affairs. Earned the Gold Cluster for several offensive victories against the Klingon Alliance. Rhode Island-A was retired from active service in 2407 after suffering damage beyond repair from years of battle with the Klingons, but the crew went their separate ways.

Farrior spent the next year at Fleet Tactical, until the new experimental Excelsior was unveiled where he chose to accept as his newest assignment for a current shakedown.

-Commander John Abraham Mason: (Age 56) Once held the rank of captain of the Birmingham. But an unsanctioned rescue mission to save Deltans from a radical Armenian terrorist group who may or may not have been funneling weapons to the Klingon war effort, resulted in their deaths and caused Mason to lose his rank and serve time in a penal colony for 4 years.

Farrior took up on Mason at his hearing for leniency on his 7-year sentence and asked for his reinstatement in Starfleet where he was given the rank of First Officer. Plans on retiring from Starfleet when he approaches 60.

Lt. Commander Icheb: (Age 49) A one-time protege of Seven of Nine, Icheb took his entrance exam for the academy upon Voyager's return to the Alpha Quadrant, with the aid of Kathryn Janeway, who made admiral shortly afterwards to speak on his behalf with him being a former Borg drone. While some in Starfleet weren't too estatic about having a species that wasn't a member or an ally of the Federation, particularly with concerns over Captain Picard's haunted experience of being Locutus, his admittance was accepted but lukewarm.

He worked closely with Seven of Nine in the Earth's astrophysics division in 2380 after graduating, where he would be posted until 2383, after Seven encouraged her student to move onto other avenues. He would accept a posting at DS9 to spearhead the astrophysics division there and serve onboard the Defiant as science officer for the next 13 years. He would also be responsible for looking over the career of another Voyager member, Naomi Wildman who was fresh out of the academy and grown up in 2386. Due to her half-Ktarian physiology, she was able to grow twice as fast as a normal human and was able to enter Starfleet early back in 2382.

Icheb earned the rank of Lt. Commander in 2390. However Wildman's pursuit of Icheb for a relationship would make him feel uncomfortable since she was his understudy. With the tragic death of her mother Samantha Wildman in 2393, coupled with repeated spurned rejections from Icheb, she went into a breakdown that caused her to be admitted into physcological therapy. Feeling responsible for her condition, Icheb resigned his commission. He would return to Earth as a teacher of sciences, but made efforts to see her when time was available.

Farrior learned of Icheb in stories from Captain Kim while serving under him. When Farrior made captain of the Rhode Island, he tried to convince Icheb to return to Starfleet to serve with him, but he refused. In later years, upon of hearing Wildman's recovery and a good swift kick in the ass by Janeway and Seven, his commission was reactivated in 2404 as a lieutenant and served on the Rhode Island under Farrior. He now serves his captain again onboard the new Excelsior as the Second Officer.

Lt. Commander Andrea Berazza: (Age 32) Born in the mountain plains of Tucula, Mexico, Amanda is a combination of sultry, intelligence and toughness. Having spent her early days as an exotic performer, she was not content of her lifestyle and felt she had a calling elsewhere. Farrior discovered her while on shore leave at her job, in which she professed she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. He made her an offer to choose Starfleet as that avenue.

Though initally she laughed at his idea, she took him up on it and enrolled in 2392. Working hard in her studies, she was in the top 4% honors of her class. Also though it's been largely kept quiet, Farrior and Berazza had an on and off relationship due to his tour of duty in space, but made sure he would see her during his time off. Once the Breen Wars began and the later the Klingon, Nausicann-Gorn Alliance encounters, it was difficult for them to see each other so they remained close friends despite being far apart.

While for the time being, its less hectic at the moment during the trying times for the Federation, they recently seen each other for the first time face to face in 10 years when he accepted the Excelsior assignment and asked her to join him for her first deep space duty, though it took a bit of enticing on his part as he dangled the offer of giving her a promotion to be Chief Medical Officer of the Excelsior.
