General Overview
Thanks to his sporting background Beardmore has always been a team player, which makes him open to other people’s ideas and points of view. He has a relaxed/casual outlook on life and rarely let’s things bother him too much, he approaches his command with the same style and is viewed by the people who serve under him as being very approachable. He is also a solid leader who is not afraid to make the difficult decisions when required.

Strengths & Weaknesses
One of Beardmore strengths is his ability to make the touch decisions when the situation calls for it. His relaxed command style is also considered to be one of his strengths as it creates a comfortable yet efficient working environment.

One of Beardmore weaknesses although he would never admit it would be his family most notably his fiancée as his commitments to them can sometimes get in the way of his work.
Ambitions
Beardmore life long ambitions were joining Starfleet and one day command his own vessel, both of which he has achieved. This has started to change as Beardmore is hoping to one day start a family with his fiancée.

In his spare time Mark enjoys time in the holodeck playing all of his favourite games that have been played thorough history on Earth Cricket and Football to name a few. He also enjoys reading many classic earth novels and also loves to write as well which is one of his favourite past

History
Mark Beardmore grew up in the island of England, where he attended Thornhill HIgh l on Eastern shore, it was during his early years at the school when he laid his eyes on joining Star Fleet. All the way through his early life Beardmore had lacked a lot of self confidence and only stayed with in a certain group of friends. He began to open up during his last few years at High School, with his never give up personality Mark became one of the most respected people in his year. He also has some what of a quick eye, which has made him a very good sports player especially in his favourite sport of football.

Mark entered Starfleet Academy at the age of 17 in the year 2374, he attended many different classes including minor courses in Flight Control, Engineering, and major courses of Command, Operations and Tactical and a number of minor courses including diplomacy . He was strong in all of his courses especially in tactical and flight control thanks mainly to having quick eye to coordination skills. During his final year at the academy, Beardmore was selected to take part in a training mission onboard the academy training ship. During this 1 month mission Beardmore proved to the academy instructors that he was a more then a capable officer.

Fresh from the academy Beardmore took up the position of a security officer on the USS Hood. He served with the Hood for three years spending the last two years as the ship’s assistant chief of security. At the end of the year 2378, Beardmore decided to move from the security department to the operations department as it was something that he had wanted to do since joining the Hood. This got him a transfer to the USS Santiago where he served for another year, before requesting and transferred to the USS ArkRoyal where he took up the position as Chief Operations, earning him a promotion to the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade.

He served on the USS ArkRoyal for five years, in which time he had become a valued member of the ship’s senior crew and served as acting XO a number of times. Before he was offered the position as Executive Officer on another Galaxy Class ship the USS Trident which was apart of Star Fleet’s Forth Fleet under the command of Captain JohnFox. He took up the position and transferred to Deep Space 12 where the Trident was taking on new crew. During his first mission on the Trident he had to take command when the Captain and a number of the Senior Crew disappeared. Beardmore holding the field rank of Lieutenant Commander lead the mission successfully and on the captain’s return was promoted to the full rank of Commander. He continued to serve on the Trident turning down a chance to command the vessel himself when Fox was transferred off ship. He served on the Trident for a while longer before being offered his own command the Prometheus Class USS Ice Apocalypse .

He accepted the position and with Lt Waters who was also named the new CMO of the Pacifica transferred to the Starbase 9 where the USS Ice Apocalypse was receiving her final Tests. After a busy final week the ship was launched as Beardmore made final arrangements with his hand picked senior crew. During the USS Ice Apocalypse first two months of duty Starfleet Command Promoted Beardmore to the rank of Captain.
